Seal T shirt

There’s no denying it anymore. There are a lot of sharks around here. In fact, the waters of Nantucket sound and eastern Cape Cod are now home to one of the largest migratory great white shark populations on earth so I think we can stop with the “Oh but they don’t swim around here, do they?“ conversations.

Fun fact, the sharks of Cape Cod spend over 50% of their time in water less than 15 feet deep. With all the growing research and drone footage online, its obvious they aren't man eaters. They just make mistakes sometimes.

Back in March, I was walking my dogs on the beach in Madaket and came across a seal with an approximately 14 inch wide bite mark in its side. From a distance, I thought it was alive and resting but as I got closer it became evident that it was dead. But it had not been dead for long! Yikes!

That’s where the idea for this T-shirt came from.
